Are you finding yourself "coming and going?" ;-) This is a great new site. I'll look forward to reading it often.

I found my first blossom today!!! A very early, little, bitty crocus. Perhaps I can get a posting yet... or tomorrow.

Shady - Glad you're still pursuing spring! And congrats on the crocus.

I have teeny, tiny green tips, in areas where my garden normally sports a springtime mixed carpet of scilla, pushkinia, snow crocus and chionodoxa. Between picking up and clipping linden twigs (boy, has that gotten old!), I keep an eye out for spring - but that's it, so far.

Thanks for finding the 'Clips' site! I look forward to its development.

Deb,
You are doing a super job with the Corliss Clips. I'm sure they must appreciate your efforts! I hadn't realized that we're in the same Zone! I actually try to purchase things designated for Zone 4, as that's what we "used" to be until recently. ;-)

But, you give great advice and provide a very useful checklist!

Appreciate the input, Shady - it's an enjoyable task.

We too, have been recently rezoned - 5a, for my area... I'm sticking with #5, personally and I've always felt better with plants having a Zone 4 rating. I guess we're thinking along the same lines.

I often include some sort of guide or checklist, especially in spring and fall, when the tasks are many and the time limited.
