An especially Happy Easter, here on the banks of Lily Pond! Those two snow crocus buds, reluctant to open on the first, second or third day of spring, have succumbed to the sun's rays and are in bloom today.A second reason to rejoice, is the discovery of a clump of striped 'Pickwick' mammoth crocus in full bloom, happy in the radiated warmth from the foundation. Tucked away, in back of the foundation planting, these were my Easter surprise... better than any chocolates or jelly beans... and more highly anticipated. Spring has arrived!
I hope everyone is enjoying a nice day with family and friends!

Congratulations on your Easter Gifts (crocus blossoms), Deb! And Happy Easter to you. We haven't been home all day, so I'll check things out tomorrow. It's still a little chilly around here (32 degrees F today). :-)
Shady - I know... finally! We (Lucy and I) discovered them on our noontime "outies." Pretty chilly here, also. Great writing weather - gardening, not so much.
It was a good day to discover the crocus wasn't it?! I hope the rest of your Easter was just as wonderful. Peace and love.
Lisa - It was just the surprise and sign of spring I was looking for. I hope that you, too, found a bit of Easter peace... and maybe a little spring.
Thanks for dropping by... Deb
