"What's New?"...

1.) The highly acclaimed film, "Metamorphosis of a Monarch Butterfly" is currently playing in this sidebar, to your right.

2.) The short film, "Oh Deer!" is playing over at the 'Corliss Clips' blog.

3.) Now showing at 'Waltzes with Words' is "New England Sunsets"

4.) Held over, by popular demand, "Shutterbug's Slide Show." And don't miss that very short, but sweet, holiday treat "The Easter Bunny Show." These are both playing at 'Shutterbug on Knights Pond.'

So, pop the corn, pour the root beer, sit back and enjoy "movie night!"

I was glad to hear that some of your crocus are out and happily blooming. Spring is more advanced there than here ... but soon, yes, please. No more snow ...

And thank you for my post-nap waking-up entertainment. I substituted coffee for the root beer. And now I'm more perky. Sort of...

Hi Deb! I want to know how you make slide shows of particular photos. I have a flickr site. I can make a slide show of Everything I have there, but that's not what I want. Do I need to make another free flickr site? just wondering... Otherwise, Great Movies! (and I love root beer!) ;-)

Kate - Sorry you're still awaiting the feel of spring. From my reading, I've discovered that many other gardens are far ahead of mine. While we're scheduled for around 50º tomorrow, they're also talking about a wintry mix later. Hang in there!

Glad you enjoyed the first-run movies!

Shady - Picasa web albums! Google owns blogger and Picasa, all my photos from the blogs are stored there, so I figured it made sense to set up a Picasa account. It is so easy (I'm all about easy, when it comes to this stuff). You have total control re: selecting and uploading desired photos into your own slide show. Also easily added to the sidebar ("medium" seems to work best for mine). For Shutterbug, I did let all of his posted photos become a slide show and he was pleasantly surprised by the feature. It's great fun. You can store your shows and save them to repost later, as well.

One warning - It's slightly addictive. "Quiet on the set!"

Lisa - You made me laugh aloud! You should enjoy "some of the real stuff." I'm pretty sure that popcorn is one of the major building blocks in the food pyramid.

I think you're right about the picture, something subliminal, as I've felt compelled to use my air popper for 3 nights in a row. Don't worry... it's not that healthy - it gets misted with canola oil (healthier than butter), then sprinkled with grated cheese. Makes a great supper, when you've been busy writing all day!

And that whole food pyramid thing? If I eat much more of this stuff, I'll take on the proportions of a pyramid. Time to get my garden exercise program started!
